Lexie's Ups And Downs...

More action today from May's ICWF DivaMania event which took place down in the Sunshine State!

One of the major names on this show was long-time G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Lexie Fyfe. It was a real contrast when the vet faced-off against one of our newest G.L.O.R.Y. Girls, Jelena. Early on, Lexie's experience showed through as she manhandled the rookie with maneuvers such as this bone-rattling bodyslam. Perhaps it was just a matter of Jelena shaking-off some early jitters about stepping into the ring against the vet, but once she got her feet under her the rookie made a spirited comeback. A clothesline by the Florida newcomer decked Lexie later in the match...but Lexie showed why she's become a veteran of the sport as she recovered and captured the win with an Attitude Adjuster on the feisty teen.

While Lexie won this match, it apparently took its toll on her physically and psychologically. Later in the event, Ms. Fyfe was involved in a tag match that found her taking a ton of punishment...much of it coming from fellow G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Rain. The Minnesota native's strategy? Working over Lexie's back and neck! A chinlock has Lexie on the mat and screaming in agony. Later on, an over-the-knee back breaker does its job as Rain continues to do damage to Fyfe's spinal column. And it's only going to get worse for Lexie. In the background, you can see Rain's partner Trenesha climbing through the ropes...getting ready to turn this into a double-team attack!
