Bruising Battleship Brawl!

The action was bruising and vicious when Taylor Nicole Rules faced Kacee Carlisle (with manager Chrissy Johnson) for a titanic JWA-United/AWESOME championship match aboard the Battleship New Jersey this past weekend. The two promotions came together to run on the historic ship...and the fight that these two powerful G.L.O.R.Y. Girls engaged in was just as intense as any that the vessel saw when it was still in commission on the hight seas!

Rules dedicated the match to her grandfather, who passed away on May 1st. But the sentiment that Taylor showed towards her beloved grandfather was not shared by her opponent who went on an early and violent offensive. After a brief slugfest in the middle of the ring, Ms. Carlisle delighted in punishing Taylor with a tough side headlock and an arm wrenching hammerlock that had Ms. Rules howling in pain. But the pain only drove Taylor on her own destructive crusade. A big boot to the throat had Carlisle in trouble in the corner...followed by a battering along the ropes that was painful even for the fans to watch. Rules was ruthless as she bent, twisted, choked and abused the overwhelmed Carlisle before eventually putting her away with her Tsunami finisher.

In the end, it was Taylor Nicole Rules who victoriously held her two title belts aloft at the conclusion of the match.
