Portia Perez: "Revenge Is So Sweet..."
Yesterday we showed you some action from last month's PGWA Title match in Nashville, Tennessee. A battle which pitted G.L.O.R.Y. Girls Nikki Roxx and Portia Perez against each other. We saw how Perez postured and posed prior to the opening bell before getting somewhat embarrassed by her taller opponent once the match got underway.
But no one likes getting shown up in the ring...especially Portia Perez. And if getting even means breaking the rules, then rule-breaking it will mean!
Above, you can see the beginning of Portia's assault on Nikki. Trapping Roxx against the corner turnbuckles, Perez launches into the blonde and nails her with a hard knee to the chin. The blow snaps Nikki's head back hard and puts her on the defensive for the first time in the match.
And she had to put up quite a defense to survive the assault that Perez heaped upon her...

A Little Help From The Ropes
Remember those ringside fans we saw yesterday who weren't really paying attention to Portia Perez's ring entrance? Well, they're paying attention now as she chokes Roxx over the middle ring rope right in front of them. In fact, it almost looks like Portia is showing more interest in taunting them than in defeating her opponent!

More Roxx Suffering...
Portia continues taunting the ringside Roxx fans, using their girl as a stage to continue her deadly assault. Nikki's screams of pain fill the arena as the Canadian stands on her throat, pinning her neck between turnbuckle and boot leather. Nikki tries to bridge out of it, but there's no way to minimize the pain of this attack.

Wrestling? More Like Brawling!
As we said at the beginning, Portia Perez doesn't take embarrassment lightly. Once she gained the advantage over her opponent, she kept up with the violent barrage of illegal maneuvers...culminating in this simple but highly effective choke. Nothing fancy here. Portia simply clamps her hands around Nikki's throat and squeezes for all she's worth.

Out Of Control!
Yet again, Portia seems more concerned with posturing and taunting the fans than in winning this match. She still has that strangle working, but now she once more turns her attention to the fans. It doesn't make life any easier for Nikki at the moment...but Portia's concern for taunting and showing off for the fans will come back to bite her as she'll soon give Nikki the opening she needs to get back into the match.
