Lost Weekend?
Now you didn't think that Amber could be involved in two New Jersey shows in two days without #1 O'Neal fan Ed Darcey being in the stands to root her on at both venues, did you?! Today, Ed reports on Amber's WSU King and Queen of the Ring appearance...
Yesterday we were reminded of how well Alicia had done this past weekend for WSU/NWS and were made aware of the fact that Amber O'Neal had lost her title bout vs. Mercedes Martinez. The next night, Ms. O'Neal had planned to start a new winning streak at the WSU/NWS King and Queen of the Ring Tournament. Unfortunately for Amber and her partner, Bison Bravado, a veteran of the King and Queen tourney, they were matched against some very formidable opponents: a true fan favorite and an ECW original, Balls Mahoney, and his partner, former WWE champ and recent WSU Hall of Famer, Jazz, who was none too thrilled at having been O'Neal's 6th WSU victim!
While O'Neal was her usual wiley and conniving self and Bison was a reasonable counterweight to Balls, the duo of Mahoney and Jazz were on a mission. Spurred on by the cheers of the crowd, indy superstars Jazz and Balls managed to defeat their opponents, landing simultaneous suplexes that left the team of O'Neal and Bravado semi-conscious on the mat.
While Alicia had a remarkable weekend, this was a weekend Ms. O'Neal would rather forget. But she has vowed to gain a measure of revenge in June...though she may have started early by costing Jazz a place in the King and Queen finals later that same night.
