Lynn vs. James
The Triton Championship Wrestling Ladies Title was up for grabs a couple of weekends ago when Champion Rebecca Lynn faced fellow G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Misty James in Mountain City, Tennessee. Here's a report on that TCW match from a fan in attendance...
Misty started off strong, controlling the match by working over Rebecca's arm and just out-wrestling the champion. About six minutes into the action Misty went for a splash in the corner on Rebecca, but the champion moved and the challenger found herself in trouble. Lynn took control and went to work on Misty's lower back with vicious stomps and knees. The champion was able to keep control until she missed an elbow drop on Misty. The blonde fired back with nasty chops and kicks and had the champion in trouble. Misty climbed to the top following a slam on the champ. As Misty came flying through the air with a high cross body, many thought it would mark the beginning of a new title reign. But the crafty Lynn was able to roll through and hold Misty down for a three count!
Misty has asked for a return match in TCW where she says she will put up her Southern States Ladies Title for another shot at the TCW Title.
