Bulldogged To La-La Land!
Yesterday we watched as G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Kassie Rains transformed before our eyes from a promising, young ring athlete into a vicious teen vixen during her recent SSW match against Misty James. Kassie had numerous opportunities throughout the contest to put Misty away...but she passed on those chances to score a pinfall and instead concentrated on doing damage to the southern blonde belle. Bad decision on Kassie's part!
A wrestling match can turn in an instant, and it did in this bout when Ms. James was able to catch Rains with a skull-rattling kneelift coming off the ring ropes. Knocked almost senseless from the blow, Kassie was unable to counter as Misty hooked her up in a side headlock, ran her across the ring and planted her face-first into the mat with a perfectly executed bulldog (below). The face plant erased whatever fight was left in the youngster at that point. It was a simple matter for Misty to roll over her opponent, hook a leg and cover the shoulders of the nearly unconscious teen terror...or should we say former teen terror?...to collect the win.
Will this loss prompt the promising young Kassie Rains to change her strategy and become a respectable, rule-abiding wrestler? Or will the teenager continue to associate with the darker members of the wrestling world and stay on the same nasty path she is now on? Which will it be, Kassie? Fan favorite or teen vixen? We'll be watching.
