Wesna Eats Some Boot Leather
Wrestlin' Wally continues to supply us with some of his exclusive ringside shots from late-April's SHIMMER event in Berwyn, Illinois. Today, the action centers on the Awesome Kong vs. Wesna (mis?)match.
The picture above gives you a good idea of what Wesna was up against. The big, brutal Kong didn't only have the size advantage...she had the edge in nastiness, too. Look at the scream of pain coming from Wesna as powerful Kong grinds that vicious boot into her face. OUCH!
But Wesna did dish-out some of her own offense against big Kong. Below, you can see Wesna holding her own and keeping her opponent off-balance as she uses the kicking technique which has become a trademark of the European grappler. Wesna also impresses in the strength department. How many times have you seen Kong lifted off her feet...much less up on the shoulders of her opponent?!
In the end, Wesna fell victim to the massive Kong. But it was an impressive showing for the European G.L.O.R.Y. Girl...a showing which certainly caught the attention of the rest of the SHIMMER roster.
