Eric The Photographer To Eric The Author

Long-time G.L.O.R.Y. fans are certainly familiar with Eric Shaffer--who has come to be known as Eric The Photographer or ETP--due to his early work with G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling since it was a budding site back in 2000. But Eric has recently evolved from ETP to ETA...Eric The Author!

Eric has collected a series of great interviews that he conducted through the years into a book called Ringside Voices. The interviews, with everyone from ring legends to regional stars to WWE personalities, give readers insights into these wrestlers lives and experiences. One of the subjects of the book is none other than The Prodigette...a.k.a. G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Angel "Riptide" Orsini. The book's 76 pages are full of great info and entertainment that any wrestling fan will appreciate. And yes...this is an actual, bound book! High quality. Actual paper. Ink. No e-book or web-book here! Bet you can even get Eric to sign it for you if you ask him nicely. ; )

Now, many of you may be wondering (and worrying!) that Eric may be giving up his camera for a pen. WRONG! Eric is still out there snapping away. In fact, he was ringside...with camera in hand...at last month's WSU event in Boonton, New Jersey. That's where he snapped the picture below of Angel attempting to rip Bobcat's head off of her body.
