Jana's New Attitude: Whatever It Takes?

When Jana broke into the wrestling business a few years ago, she showed promise as one of the rising young stars who would use her brains, strength and wrestling ability to rise to the top of the women's division. But some things have changed since then. Yes...Jana is still rising up the ranks. She still has the smarts. She still possesses exceptional physical ability and technical expertise, too. But it's her new attitude which has been catching everyone's attention of late. That new, aggressive and--many might say--nasty attitude seems to have started within the last year. It has especially intensified in 2009. A few weeks ago Jana mauled former friend and partner Luscious Latasha in a WSU match where it seemed that she was more interested in inflicting pain than anything else. Last week, Jana was in mixed-tag competition against Brooke Carter. The nasty demeanor was on display once more as she pummelled, pounded and cheated her way through her battle with the beautiful blonde rookie.

After a neck-wrenching leg scissors that had Carter howling in pain, Jana resorted to a nasty spike of the youngster's pretty face into the ring mat (below). A follow-up elbow smash to the base of Brooke's neck appeared to many as Jana's attempt to not only win the match, but to also put the blonde out of wrestling for good! Jana showed how low she would stoop for a victory when she recruited the help of her male partner for a double team attack. Jana held Carter's stretched and twisted left arm steady...providing an easy target for her partner's (some creep named J.D. Smoothie) axe-handle smash off the top rope.

Jana's new attitude has certainly been helpful in racking up the wins. But at what cost? The former fan favorite seems to be turning off many fans of late with her nasty ring tactics. So Jana...are the wins more important to you than the backing of your loyal wrestling fans?
