January 28, 2005 (10:07am): The first Academy Event of 2005, Revolt 2005, has been set. The show will take place on Sunday January 30th at the Buckland Community Centre, Portsmouth; with a 1 pm start.
The show will feature the one-night return of Rishi Ghosh, as he takes on his brother Rajah Ghosh - with a third Ghosh brother, Kapil, officiating.
Paul Birchall makes his last appearance in an Academy ring, as he appropriately takes on James Tighe - the man he shares most history with in the whole Academy.
Aviv Maayan will be in action against an opponent to be announced.
Mark Sloan will be holding an 'Academy Lottery' - his opponent thus will be decided on the night.
A huge 35 man Battle Royale will be held, featuring several stars from the Academy's past as well as present.
The show will be headlined by a match that potentially could be the most brutal in Academy history - a Last Man Standing Match for the Academy Title as Champion Mark Underwood takes on a challenger he has never been able to defeat - Max Voltage.
