Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame 2004 Induction
Ask anyone who attended the 2004 Induction this past weekend and you will hear outstanding and awesome. Over 1000 wrestlers and fans attended the weekend events to honor Mae Young, Verne Gagne, Harley Race, Terry Funk, Lord Littlebrook and Butcher & Mad Dog Vachon into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame. Angelo Savoldi was unable to attend. Also inducted into the class of 2004 were William Muldoon, Vincent McMahon Sr. and Gordon Solie. Len Rossi and Dr John Bonica received the PWHF New York State Award. Tony Vellano and Mike Capano were also honored by the wrestlers for their continued efforts in the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame & Museum. George "the Animal" Steele was the MC for the evening. Fans were able to interact, get autographs and pictures with all of the wrestlers in attendance at the golf outing, convention, meet & greet, dinner and ceremony.
The 2004 Induction was held at the Holiday Inn in Schenectady, N.Y., May 7th and 8th. This was said to be the best wrestling event of the year.
