January 31, 2004 Update

AWF
November 15, 2003: Hailey Hatred vs. Lady Victoria

A rather disturbed Hailey Hatred heads for the ring.  Lady Victoria waits in the ring for her opponent.  Victoria works a nice hammerlock.  Hailey flings her opponent into the ropes.

Hailey gets vicious! A rake of Lady Victoria's face...  ...followed by a choke over the middle rope...  ...capped off with a nasty leg split!  Hailey grits her teeth as she works the side headlock.

Victoria goes to work on that arm again.  Hailey answers with a clearly illegal chomping of Victoria's fingers.  Hailey Hatred mugs for the camera as she brutalizes her opponent!

CIWIndy Women's Title Match
Allie Spirit challenges Sonya Blackhawk (July 11, 2003)

Allie catches Sonya by surprise with a whip off the ropes.  Allie bounces Sonya's head off the mat.  Those handfuls of red hair don't look legal to us! Where's the referee?  Sonya hits a nice snapmare on Spirit.

The cheerleader hits the mat hard and sits stunned for a moment.  Allie has Sonya screaming as she stretches her neck and shoulder muscles with a grinding full nelson.  Sonya launches herself off the corner ropes and...  ...drives her opponent's head into the mat!

Both wrestlers are dazed after their violent collision with the mat.  Allie Spirit recovers first but doesn't seem to be in a rush to attack Blackhawk yet.  The title belt seems to be the center of attention here.  Allie hooks one of Sonya's legs...

...and leans back to apply an Indian Leglock!  Sonya continues to suffer as her opponent goes to work on her legs.  Double the pain! Spirit keeps the legs locked...then yanks Sonya's head back by ripping at those curly red locks!

November 29, 2002 Update

Introducing Marvin Brewer...
The Diva, Lexie Fyfe, Macaela Mercedes, Sonya Blackhawk, Charley Boy and more.

The Diva is not afraid to step into the ring against male opponents.  Lexie Fyfe goes for a pin on The Diva.  This mysterious masked wrestler is actually Macaela Mercedes!  The Diva gets mauled in the corner by Lexie Fyfe and her partner, Mighty Heidi.

Sonya Blackhawk pulls the masked wrestler out of the corner.  Blackhawk prepares for a high flying move.  Lexie nails The Diva with a big chop.  The Diva climbs on the back of Mighty Heidi and attempts to sleeper her out!

Mercedes and The Diva brawl on the canvas.  Macaela Merceded hears the cheers of the crowd as she makes her way to the ring.  The lovely Diva has some words to say...  Macaela Mercedes looks to be in a bad mood at the end of this match.

The Diva poses with her championship belt.  Sonya Blackhawk surprises The Diva while she's perched atop the corner ropes...  ...and The Diva has no place to go but DOWN!  Sonya Blackhawk gets crushed with a leg drop delivered by a huge male opponent who interfered in one of her recent matches.

Allie Spirit's alter-ego: Camron Star.  Charley Boy has a few words to say to the fans in attendence.  Sonya Blackhawk and her tag team partner...the gender-bending Whipme Spearz.  Whipme Spearz tried to pin both Charley Boy and Camron Star at the same time.

The Diva leans into a rope choke on Macaela Mercedes.  Mercedes' spine is about to feel the force of a flying elbow from The Diva.  The Diva celebrates after pinning Mercedes.

Marvin Brewer's Bio

Marvin Brewer

My name is Marvin Brewer. I was introduced to wrestling early in my life. My heroes were men like Dick The Bruiser, Andre The Giant and Roddy Piper. In 1987, I stepped into the ring for the first time as a wrestler...but due to a major injury I was forced to the sidelines. By 1999, I had photographed action from ringside for almost all the major wrestling organizations across the county. I always enjoyed photographing the women wrestlers the most and have made that my main focus of my freelance photography career. Some of my favorites to photograph Macaela Mercedes, Lexie Fyfe and Sonya Blackhawk. I also enjoyed photographing many of The Diva's matches.

I'm currently working with a digital Canon D-60 camera.

My life is only complete when I hear the crowd and watch the referee count 1-2-3! God bless the wrestlers.
