Hello. My name is Ken Cantrell and I have been a pro wrestling photographer for the last 20 years. During this time, I have photographed some of the best wrestlers in the world. I live in a small town in Eastern Kentucky called Paintsville, which is around 100 miles east of Lexington. I travel all over Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee and West Virginia, video taping and photographing wrestling. I have also photographed some of the top lady wrestlers in the world. Sheri Martel, Candi Divine, Brandi Collins, Mercedes, Lexie Fyfe, Brandi Alexander and Lady Victoria are just some of the top ladies I've had the pleasure of capturing on film over the last couple of years.
My photos have been featured in New Wave Wrestling Magazine and Wrestling Toxic. I've also started working for Lady Sports Magazine. I am the official photographer for a group called Nationwide Championship Wrestling out of Moorehead, KY. Some of the top names that have wrestled under the NCW banner are: The Batten Twins, Bull Pain, Ricky Morton, The Barbarian, Sabu, Bill Alphonso, Tracy Smothers, The Stro, "Sweet" Scotty Ace and Todd Morton.
I am a lifetime member of the National Freelance Photographers Association. I started taking pictures with a Minolta X-7A 35mm, a Minolta X-370 35mm, a Yashaka SX-70 35mm and a Cannon 85 Zoom Sure Shot 35mm. At the shows I attend, you can see me running back and forth between the locker room and ringside, trying to catch all the action and still get the posed stuff in the back!
You can see a lot of my work by checking out the web sites of "Foxy Lady" Lexie Fyfe, Macaela Mercedes, and the NCW web site.
