April Hunter is ready to rumble.  Crazy Daisy is going for the hair and preparing a right fist for Ariel.  Sarah Stock clamps her hand around Tara Charisma's throat.  April Hunter recoils after a Psycho chop.

Sarah Stock continues to attack Tara Charisma.  Tracy Brooks tries to force Ariel over the top rope.  April Hunter has the hair and is ready to run Tara out of the ring.  Over the top rope...and Tara Charisma is eliminated.

Angel Williams and Tracy Brooks team up to eliminate Sarah Stock.  In tag team action, Angel Williams and Tracy Brooks wait for their opponents...  ...Alere Little Feather and Sarah Stock.  Stock chops away at Tracy Brooks.

Sarah plays leapfrog with Alere and Tracy.  Angel has no regard for the rules as she rips at her opponent's hair.  Flying head scissors by Angel!  Alere stretches out a screaming Angel Williams.

Sarah Stock walks right into a bodyslam...  ...and Tracy is happy to finish it off.  Tracy's clothesline puts down Stock.  Stock kicks out of a pin attempt.

January 14, 2003 Update

Pennsylvania Indy Action!
December 2002: Simply Luscious; Allison Danger, Trinity, Luscious Lily, Noel.

Simply Luscious prepares for her intergender battle against Greg Spitz.  Simply Luscious takes the early advantage as she works Spitz's arm.  Luscious keeps the pressure up with an abdominal stretch.  Spitz suffers big-time as Simply Luscious stretches his abs and uses her leg to put some additional pressure on his neck.

Spitz is able to break the hold and haul Luscious over with a hip-toss.  Now it's Simply Luscious' turn to suffer as Spitz racks her across his knees in a brutal spine breaker.  No mercy being shown by her male opponent here! Simply Luscious is set up for a suplex...  Spitz has Luscious up as he prepares to drop her to the mat hard.

The impact of the suplex is etched in the painful expression of our G.L.O.R.Y. Girl's face.  The brutal Spitz shows Luscious no mercy as he grabs her by the hair and immediately prepares to punish her further.  Spitz attempts a high-risk maneuver to finish off Luscious.  Trinity manages Chris Divine.

Allison Danger protects her man, Amazing Red.  Allison gets a little closer to one of her favorite men to manage.  So do you think the referee heard Allison?  Trinity, Striker and Luscious Lily.

Lily sends a message to someone just out of camera range!  The team of Allison Danger and Simply Luscious enter the arena for an intergender tag match against the Well Hung Warriors.  A little pre-match meditation?  Luscious takes a whip off the ropes.

It looks like a pair of flying head scissors are in store for the Warriors.  Allison works the arm of Greg Spitz.  Luscious puts everything she has into a stretch of Spitz.  Allison watches as her partner takes one of the Warriors over with an arm drag.

Simply Luscious uses a leg across her opponent's throat as she also tries to wrench his arm out of the shoulder!  Pandemonium in the Warriors' corner as they attempt to double-team Luscious.  Luscious gets pounded against the ropes...and it looks like that loose wrist tape may find its way around someone's lovely throat!  Luscious is in big trouble as she's about to take a double whip off the ropes.

Even after taking a nasty pounding by the Well Hung Warriors, Luscious is able to make it to her partner.  Allison gets a near pin on her opponent, but his yank of her hair breaks the hold.  Allison shows no fear as she takes on both guys at once!  Uh-oh! Allison is about to get splattered on the mat!

Allison Danger with a whip on one of the Warriors.  Luscious Lily prepares for an in-ring catfight with fellow G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Noel.  Noel looks a little worried as she heads towards the ring.  Luscious Lily shows her vicious side as she clamps her hands around Noel's throat and squeezes for all she's worth!

Now it's Noel's spine that is taking the abuse as Lily stretches her unfortunate opponent to the limit.  Although she could put Noel away, Lily decides tp yank her up off the mat for more punishment.  Luscious Lily leaves a broken and battered Noel lying on the mat after their match.  A dazed Noel has to be helped from the ring after the terrible beating she endured.

Eric Shaffer's Bio

Eric Shaffer

My name is Eric Shaffer, and I'm addicted to wrestling...

As far as I can remember, I've been watching wrestling since about 1977, and attending live events since the mid 1980's. Since then, I've come a long way from the days of taking dark pictures with a Kodak Disc camera from the fourth row in some high school gymnasium. My latest expensive toy is a Pentax ZX-7 outfit, which I'm still figuring out how to use. So when the flash goes off, don't move until the shutter snaps because it's on automatic for now!

I honed my photographic craft at ringside for World X-Treme Wrestling and the World Wide Wrestling Alliance in Pennsylvania...the first of many promotions to let me into their inner squared circles. On any given weekend (which sometimes start as early as Thursday in wrestling), I can be seen somewhere on the Eastern seaboard at indy wrestling events.

As a Distinguished Member of the International Society of Photographers, my work has been published in several of their books, including the prestigious America at the Millennium: Best Photos of the Century. Checkerbee Publishing used fifteen of my pictures in their wrestling collectibles guide. Of late, I've done freelance work for New Wave Wrestling Magazine and the Wrestling Update of Nigeria, Africa.

The number of wrestlers' and promotions' Web sites that have displayed my pictures are too numerous to mention. But I am proud of the fact that the first-ever G.L.O.R.Y. Picture Of The Day was one of mine, as was the Web site's First Anniversary picture.

At a recent event, I was approached by three other promoters, requesting my services for their shows--all this while waiting for three other people to return phone calls about doing promo work for them. It's no wonder that one independent superstar called me "The hardest working man in show business".

See you at ringside!

Contact Eric Shaffer at shafferic@aol.com. Due to the vast number of independent promotions in the Pennsylvania area, I cannot guarantee that I will get to you immediately...but believe me, I want to.
