Thrill. Victory. Agony. Defeat.
You know what they say about the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, right? Well, it was all on display last Sunday in Voorhees, New Jersey, where G.L.O.R.Y. Girls Kacee Carlisle and Brittany Force battled for TWA. The special guest referee was none other than Sunny...and she very well may have been the deciding factor in this match.
As you can see from today's pictures, Kacee seemed to have the match well in hand for the most part as she battered Force every which way. Brittany was slammed back-first into the mat [above] and face-first into the mat [Picture #2]. Then Kacee pounded her opponent as she sat atop the corner turnbuckle [ #3]. After heaping even more abuse upon Brittany, Kacee took to taunting the fans, too. Take a look as she chokes and tortures her fellow G.L.O.R.Y. Girl over the middle ring rope while screaming and agitating the assembled crowd [ #4].
The problem for Kacee came when she decided to spend more time arguing and berating guest ref Sunny than finishing off her opponent [ #5]. That error in judgement cost her the match as Force waited for a brief opening and caught Kacee from behind with a small package roll-up for the pin [ #6]. After out-wrestling Force for most of the match, Carlisle's poor decision to confront Sunny ended up costing her the match. The final picture snapped by Hank Stoklosa tells the story [ #7] as a distraught Kacee Carlisle...a look of disbelief on her face...experiences the agony of defeat while Brittany Force has her arm raised in triumph and experiences the thrill of victory!
