POWW Action Continues
More today from the January three-way match for the Queen Of POWW title involving G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Melanie Cruise, Taylor Made and Nikki. Yesterday we watched as Melanie was targeted with fists, forearm shots and stomps from both of her opponents. But the powerful, six-foot brunette soon turned the tide and began dishing out some pain of her own.
The first to feel Cruise's wrath was Taylor Made. After being decked with a vicious clothesline [above], the zebra-striped wrestler was scooped up and hung upside down from the top corner ropes. Helpless in the well-named Tree of Woe, Taylor could do little to avoid whatever punishment Melanie wanted to inflict. [Picture #2] [ #3].
Nikki tried to corral the bigger Cruise using a bucking bronco-like technique. Jumping onto Melanie's back was the easy part [ #4]...it was the getting her down to the mat that remained a problem. Cruise solved that dilemma herself as she drove the air out of her rider by backing into the corner turnbuckles. [ #5]
In the end, it was Ms. Cruise who was able to overcome her two adversaries and collect the match-ending pin against Nikki. [ #6] After a tough battle, it was Melanie Cruise who retained her Queen Of POWW tiara. [ #7]
