Even More JAPW
Let's finish up the week with one more look at this past weekend's JAPW event in Rahway, New Jersey...an event that featured many G.L.O.R.Y. Girls in action.
Plenty of punishment was traded when Sassy Stephie and Fate met inside the JAPW ring. Above, it's Fate with the upper hand as she racks the arms of the screaming brunette.
Then it was Annie Social facing JAPW newcomer Mia Yim. Annie found herself in some trouble early as Yim had her in pain with this wrenching arm lock [Picture #2]. But Annie showed her veteran experience (and willingness to ignore the rules) when she worked the the throat of her opponent over the middle ring rope [ #3].
When Brittany Force and Allison Wonderland faced off, it was the tattooed Wonderland who was in agony as she was stretched and tortured in a very effective over-the-knee backbreaker [ #4]. Allison's answer was a leg-split pin over the reeling Ms. Force [ #5].
Then there's Roxie Cotton...who's in a class all by herself. Turns out that Roxie wasn't even scheduled for a match at this event. So why was she being led from the arena by the JAPW referees? (One of whom is G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Liz Savage.) [ #6] Well, the unpredictable Cotton crashed the gate and was able to not only make her way to the ring, but also get her hands on a microphone. The fans at ringside didn't appreciate her interference in the matches, especially one female fan in the front row who was able to get under Roxie's skin. Cotton was so annoyed with the fan that she pulled her out of her seat, over the steel barricade and onto the arena floor...where she proceeded to beat her down and pummel her viciously until the referees showed up to make the save [ #7].
