Jana: Out Of Control
Remember when Jana used to be the kind of wrestler who you were happy to root for? She fought tough and hard--but always fair and clean--whenever she stepped into the ring to compete. But those days seem to be long gone. So far in 2009, Jana has turned over a new leaf...one that is nasty, violent and vicious. She proved it last weekend in WSU's Spirit Division Tournament in Belleville, New Jersey. Just ask Jana's first round opponent in the tournament, Jennifer Cruz. Take a look at the brutal choking assault that Jana unleashed on the rookie grappler. A choke from behind has Cruz gasping for air [above]...but the disturbing part is the look of delight on Jana's face as she listens to the gasps of agony coming from her victim. And Jana kept that choke locked-on for a long time. Cruz was still suffering as she was dragged to the corner by her dominant opponent. Climbing the ropes, the vicious Jana began to yank the youngster off the mat as she was literally trying to hang the unfortunate rookie! [Pictures #2 and #3]. And when that choking assault didn't garner the win for Jana, she resorted to some old-fashioned punches to the side of the head to get the job done [ #4].
Looks like "nice Jana" is gone for good...
