Photographer Spotlight: Danielle D'Adamo
Today we turn the G.L.O.R.Y. spotlight on New Jersey/New York area wrestling photographer Danielle D'Adamo. Fans are familiar with the friendly photog who can be found ringside at many of the area's most-popular shows. Perched aside the ring apron, Dani captures all the action and pain being experienced inside the ropes. And pain is certainly being experienced by Cindy Rogers at this moment. That's Nikki Roxx who is stretching the agonized brunette to the limit. And whoever convinced poor Roxie Cotton to step into the ring with Amazing Kong (below) should be ashamed of him/herself! We're sure Danielle didn't have a part in booking the match, but she did capture this...the moment when Roxie realized she made a bad, BAD mistake in signing a contract to face the monster wrestler!
But Danielle doesn't just stand next to the ring and aim inside the four corners. If the action spills out to any other part of the arena, Dani gets in there to record the mayhem. An example is this brawl in the stands between AmyLee and Kong that took place at a WSU event earlier this year. AmyLee looks kind of loopy here as Kong alternates between scissoring the blonde's skull and then konking her over the head with her big boot. Dani got it!
Friends with many of the wrestlers she shoots, Dani also gets great backstage and promo shots of the girls. This shot of the sexy Annie Social shows her serious side as she prepares to take to the ring and do battle.
And guess what? Ms. D'Adamo was at Saturday night's WSU event in Boonton, New Jersey. She captured much of the action, including this shot of the high-flying Miss April getting ready to take Jana down to the mat with a flying headscissors.
