Portia Perez Finds Herself In Trouble
Portia Perez found herself in quite a bit of trouble when she faced fellow G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Sara Del Rey at last month's Chikara Pro event in Reading, Pennsylvania. It all started when Portia found herself being flipped to the mat by Del Rey. The maneuver snapped her off her feet and down to the mat...but Portia's trouble didn't stop there. While the scrappy Canadian was still trying to collect herself, Del Rey was already one step ahead. Portia had hardly finished bouncing off the mat and Sara already had her legs prepared to snap around her opponent's head. Within a few moments, Perez not only found herself caught in a Del Rey scissors...she felt her skull and neck being crushed in a punishing figure-four. It was a hold that Del Rey kept locked-on for a long time. And why not? The strength sapping hold went a long way towards helping her capture the victory.
