A Girl Can Only Take So Much
Since the day she exploded onto the roster, Ariel has been affectionately known as "The Sweetheart Of G.L.O.R.Y.". Early in her career, the smiling brunette was often seen slapping high-fives with her ringside fans...many of them young boys and girls who looked up to her and rooted her on. Ariel has won plenty of matches. But she's also lost plenty, often due to tactics like the one seen above. That's Ariel suffering in the corner as she's double-teamed during a tag match. As one of her opponents keeps her cornered with a chinlock from outside the ropes, the other (fellow G.L.O.R.Y. Girl Portia Perez) doesn't feel any guilt at all as she pounds away with fists to the midsection. Where's the referee during all this?!

Victimized Again!
Once more, the referee is nowhere to be found as Ariel is victimized again. This time Ariel absorbs vicious stomps to the chest and throat area...and her attacker again is the surprisingly nasty Portia Perez. The screams of pain from Portuguese Princess don't seem to have an affect on the Canadian. In fact, they seem to be spurring her on to do even more damage with those boots!

A Sweetheart No More?
Is it any wonder that we've seen more tactics of this type from Ariel over the past year? While she's won her share of championships, following the rules and playing it fair and square for most of her career seems to have earned Ariel more bruises, pain and suffering than she expected. Now it's not uncommon to see Ariel digging her hands into an opponent's throat, choking her over a ring rope or smashing away with closed fists to the head.
